Graduate Assistantships
Our graduate assistants are respected leaders in Campus Recreation and Intramurals. Assistantships consist of 20 hours of service per week prior to the start of and throughout the remainder of the academic year. These positions are awarded annually and may be renewed.
In addition to a full tuition waiver for a maximum of nine credit hours per semester, a stipend amount dependent on campus location will be provided. Professional development opportunities, including travel and summer employment opportunities are also available.
Qualifications for a graduate assistantship include a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field, current GRE, GMAT or appropriate test scores and formal acceptance into a graduate program at Georgia Southern. Interested candidates may apply prior to admission, but offers are contingent upon acceptance into a graduate program.
